All to often, we are at odds with the commissioners at ASMFC. On August 8, many of the commissioners stood up for conservation. If we are compelled to complain, we should also be compelled to say “Thank You” when it is deserved.
Many of the commissioners were conservation champions at the meeting . We are sending the letter below to the commissioners from Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and North Carolina.
Their actions gave us hope for the future. They must hold the line moving forward. We would like them to know that we have their backs.
